Many U.S. soldiers in the Vietnam war, their lives familiar firm to a simple knife.
The knife, which was originally made of SOG, which is very hard to find nowadays.
Cold Steel has been producing almost a replica of this knife for several years, which is almost same as the original trust.
After hearing all the hype about the decision of Cold Steel Knives SWC, I picked up one of my own.
What I like about the knife:
1. At 6.5 inches long, is the big bladeenough to give you awesome cutting power. It is small enough to wear on your belt or to conceal, in almost any situation.
2. Cold Steel 4116 Krupp Stainless steel used in the blade. This steel was developed in Germany, where it was first used in surgical settings.
3. The SWC Cold Steel comes with a sturdy Secure-Ex sheath. This is a tough, plastic-like material with a belt loop at the end.
4. The handle has finger lines, which for convenience and to help provide a wonderfulHandle.
5. The clip blade is thin enough to stab or puncture, but thick enough to withstand many of the punishment.
The blade is hollow ground to a razor thin margin. This will help get you to imagine the thinnest slices and pieces.
What I dislike:
Cold Steel is stopping the SWC in 2008. If you are looking to get one, it would be better, fast!
Overall:
The SWC Cold Steel knife is built like a tank. I recommend it as a daily useKnives or camping / outdoor knife.
